Updating expression engine
Updater is here to give you hours of your life back.Simply install Updater into Expression Engine modules and with a few simple clicks you will have Expression Engine up to date.Updater makes updating Expression Engine and compatible Add-Ons easier then ever.Sick of uploading all your files, backing things up, moving files around and wasting hours of your life away?
But sometimes documentation can be dull and dry and you just want to see some real-world examples.
After you have updated EE from 2 to 3, then go ahead and put the Construct files in place and run the update in the Control Panel.
* Please note we will not support the actual update process, but just the install of Updater.
If the update fails you will need to use the default Ellis Lab approved method.
The Expression Engine update instructions include a point where you are encouraged to put any updated add-on files in place before you run the Expression Engine updater. However I do not recommend this since Construct 2 is not compatible with versions of Expression Engine prior to 3.
